Jill and Pat are getting married a month from today!! So, what better way to celebrate than blogging their engagement session. I must admit, I wasn’t the best at blogging this past year, but I’m excited to get back into the swing of things and start sharing all of these amazing sessions!
The three of us planned to meet at a local park, but when we got there, we realized parking was an absolute nightmare and you had to walk miles just to get to where we needed to be. But that’s okay, like I say all the time, I am a go with the flow photographer. So we did just that, we went with the flow. Pat and Jill are getting married at his dads house, in this goooorgeous old stone home in Chestnut Hill, which luckily was only about 10-15 minutes from where we were. Although they were getting married there, Jill and Pat mentioned his dads home. I was immediately up for it because I knew that even though it was the same location as their wedding, we could focus on the greenery, textures, surrounding areas, rather than the actual house itself.
Can I say, this was a true everything happens for a reason moment?! We had so much fun at their backyard engagement session, popped some bubbly, hung out and took some amazing photos.
And of course, we cannot forget the ring during an engagement session. Can we all take a second to look at the gorgeous simplicity of this ring. I couldn’t stop taking photos of it!
