A greenhouse engagement session at Otts Exotic Plants
All of my couples get a complimentary engagement session with their wedding package. It gives us a chance to meet, get to know each other, you get a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and you have an excuse to spend some alone time with your partner. When Bridget and Sierra were planning their engagement session, they came to me for advice on a location. Bridget said, “I love plants! I just want a ton of plants!” So my mind immediately jumped to a greenhouse; and what better place than Otts Exotic Plants. Otts is located about an hour Northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in a town called Schwenksville. It is a beautiful greenhouse/plant store and the location is just so freaking DREAMY! (The owners are also so incredibly sweet and sometimes you’ll even see kittens walking around!)
Bridget and Sierra were unfortunately impacted by CO-VID. Their original Savannah plans had to be postponed, however, they still wanted to get married on their original wedding date. Their wedding is THIS weekend and I am so excited to be there. Not only did they become one of my first clients as Elm and Vine Photo, they became life long friends.

For all of my couples, if they want help picking a location for their engagement session, I have a list that I send over of some of my favorite spots. Otts Exotic Plants is one of my favorite engagement session spots because 1. greenhouses have amazing light, 2. greenery makes for incredible backgrounds, 3. it is indoor so you can shoot there any time of year and 4. greenhouse engagement sessions are honestly just freaking magical and perfect!
I even had my own engagement session here and I am completely obsessed with my photos!
