Parent Date Night at Cape May Point State Park

A peak into a parent date night at Cape May Point State Park.

For the parents out there, getting away from your children for a ‘date night’ can be far and few. Especially since we’ve thrown good ol’ CO-VID in the mix, it makes it even harder to get out and go on that date. Virtual schooling kicked in (for some), regular activities are cancelled, and kids stay home way more often than they are used to. Ya’ll are exhausted and that is totally okay.  However, take a moment, even if it is for a couple of hours.  As parents, taking care of yourselves is just as important as taking care of your kids.  You have to be healthy for yourself, and for your babies.  Do something nice for yourselves!  Go on that date you’ve been wanting to plan!

This is exactly what Nicole and Chris did.  They were down in Cape May Point for a little getaway with their daughter and family. What they really needed was a date night, a night out, just the two of them. So they had dinner, spent some one on one time together, and had a photo session at one of the most beautiful parks to end the night.

Remember, it is important in our relationships that we never stop dating.  Don’t let the hustle and bustle get in the way of something so incredibly important.  It is 100% okay to ask a family member, friend, whoever it may be, to watch your kids while you go and enjoy a much needed date night.
